American Legion Auxiliary

The Legion Auxiliary is a very active group of women from the Buffalo and Tower City communities. Each year they serve lunch for the Memorial Day celebration, sponsor a poppy poster contest at the grade school, help purchase flags for the parks and schools, and help sponsor students to girls' and boys' state.

Fundraising efforts also help with projects for hospitalized veterans, and aid for handicapped children. Pictured here are all the ladies that were on hand for the May 2014 Memorial Day program and lunch held at the Buffalo Community Center. This is one of their major fundraisers for the year.
